Summer Glow

שרשרת העשויה מג'ייד צבוע וחרוזי מיוקי יפניים. השרשרת חמודה מאד על הצוואר ומוסיפה צבע באופן עדין שלא "משתלט" על סביבתו. שרשרת קטנה ומקסימה.

This ring is made of seed beads. It has two colours and three sizes of beads.

בדף של אוגוסט ההשפעה היא מהצבעים החמים והקיציים. את הכפתור הכתום עם הנקודות הלבנות קיבלתי במתנה והוא קייצי אף הוא, עם עיצוב אופנתי ושובב.

A HAPPY NEW YEAR - SHANA TOVA

I have not written in my blog for a long time. My camera can not contact the memory card, so I can not take photos of my new works. I hope that this week I will find the time to buy a new memory card and photograph my last work - a necklace of pearls – which I called “ Lemon Lime Flavor” ....

In a few days we will celebrate the beginning of a new hebrew year. I wish everyone "SHANA TOVA” Which means – “A HAPPY NEW YEAR”. I wish all of you a great year with lots of fun and surprises, love, happiness and wealth.

I WISH THAT ALL OF US WILL HAVE A WORLD OF TOLERANCE AND MUTUAL RESPECT.

המון זמן לא כתבתי. האמת היא שהמצלמה שלי לא מצליחה ליצור קשר עם כרטיס הזיכרון, ואני לא יכולה לצלם את העבודות החדשות. אני מקווה בקרוב להתפנות לקניית כרטיס זיכרון חדש ולצלם לבלוג את העבודה האחרונה שעשיתי - שרשרת פנינים הנקראת - טעם הלמון ליים....

והכי חשוב !! בעוד כמה ימים נחגוג את תחילת השנה העברית. אני מאחלת לכולם שנה טובה ומאושרת

עם המון אהבה אושר ועושר. ממני – לכולכם, למי שחוגג את תחילת השנה העברית ולמי שלא.

BJP - July

A simple planned piece. This project is about discipline.

Lately I couldn't resist improvising. I kept changing my projects during the working process. I was not satisfied with the results. Two projects were so ugly, I had to hide them..., so I stopped the working process completely and started all over again. 

I planned a simple project, not pretentious. Worked step by step, exactly the way I planned it.

It certaily was a very important lesson for me. Difficult not to act impulsive, but worth it. 

פרויקט מתוכנן. אין חריגות מהתכנית המקורית שהיא פשוטה, ללא תחכום הן באשר למרחב בחלל והן באשר לצבעים.

לאחרונה מצאתי את עצמי מאלתרת. הדברים בוצעו מבלי שאשקיע מחשבה מראש. איכשהו, תמיד בפרויקט היה היה גם דבר מה לא שלם, לא נכון, שניתן היה למנוע אם היתה חשיבה ותכנון מוקדם.  

לכן - החלטתי "לחתוך", לשנות באופן מהותי את הגישה שלי לשאר הפרויקטים השנה.

לאחר התכנון הקצר - הפרויקט נעשה באופן מהיר, ללא התלבטויות. הוא נראה "נקי" בצורתו. משהו שיהווה בסיס לפרויקטים הבאים.

שעור חשוב בשבילי....אולי גם לחיים...

Summer Pendant

תליון ששזורים בן פנינים וקריסטלים של סברובסקי.

הוא מתאים כסט לצמיד שעשוי מקריסטלים של סברובסקי.

המשותף לשניהם הם הקריסטלים בצבע ירקרק והמכלול ש"בוהק" במעין ירוק כסוף זוהר.

These are the Summer pendant and bracelet. They are both light, bright and shining. They both have the light green swarovski crystals in common. They look beautiful togeather. Best as a summer jewelry.

The Beautidul Yellow Pearl Necklace

This is the new pearl necklace!!

 I finished it last night. I did not succeed to make a good photo of the necklace. I am presenting this photo in the meantime and hope to change it soon for a better one. The necklace is made of cultured pearls, silver beads and japanese seed beads. It is delicate but "rich" on the neck.

השרשרת עשוייה מחרוזים יפניים, חרוזי כסף ופנינים מתורבתות.

לא היה פשוט לעשות אותה. היו לי בלי סוף התלבטויות, המון שינויים תוך כדי עשייה. הדבר המעניין הוא שמצד אחד היא מאד עדינה מצד שני היא ממש "עשירה" על הצוואר. יש לה נוכחות מרשימה. מזכירה לי כמובן את השרשראות האתניות שראיתי בילדותי על צווארן של נשים תימניות בשכונה בה גדלתי. 

Pearl Necklace

השרשרת עשוייה מחרוזים יפניים ופנינים מתורבתות. הסוגר מכסף. יש גם כמה חרוזי כסף השזורים בשרשרת. התכנית המקורית היתה לעשות שרשרת בחרוזים שחור / לבן עם קישוטי פנינה. אבל, נאלצתי להשתמש במה שהיה לי - חרוזים בצבעי אפור / פנינה. יצא משהו אחר, מפתיע. עדין ויוצא דופן.:) 

אני מתכננת כמה שרשרות בסגנון הזה בצבעים שונים. ברגע שאסיים - אצלם ואפרסם בבלוג. 

Pearl necklace. the Colors of the seed beads are pearl / delicate gray. I'm planning another necklace. I did not choose the colors of the seed beads... yet, ...I will let you know soon...

סיכה ש"חרזתי" בסדנה בשבוע שעבר. את הסדנה הדריכה אנג'ליקה מוצקין הנהדרת. זו אחת מהסדנאות הרבות שיוזמת גלוריה מ"בוגל".

הסדנה היתה "כייפית". התוצאה - אמנם לא מושלמת, אבל יש לה חן משלה  ....

A pin I made in a workshop last week. The artist Angelika Motzkin guided the workshop.

It was fun!!! Well, the result although not perfect, is a fresh change for me, totally different from my style.

I like it!!

This is the black red version of the herringbone tube bracelet I wrote about at the 14th of July...

I really enjoyed making it. So many options were open to me during beading...I did not have to plan ahead and decided what patterns to make during my beading...

BJP - June

This is my first embroidery piece, thanks to Triz that taught me the basics. I had a plan, but, as usual, the beading took different unplanned directions.

So,  this is the piece that made itself..

הספר מהווה השראה, הן מבחינת העצוב והן מבחינת הצבעים.

הצמיד - מיועד ליום יום, לא מורגש על היד. קל ונוח.

הצבעים - עדינים.

The inspiration for this herringbone tube bracelet was the book "More seed bead stiching" by Beth Stone. 

I really enjoy this book and recommend it to every beader.

עבודה חדשה שעשיתי אתמול בלילה. נסיון ראשון להתמודד לבד עם רקמת חרוזים.

היה קשה לצלם בגלל הצבעים הבהירים והשקיפות..אבל אני בטוחה שאשתכלל עם הזמן ואלמד גם את זה. האמת שהתכשיט מרשים יותר מאשר בצילום ..
