BEAD SOUP BLOG PARTY - Let the party begin!!!!

I am excited!! the bead party is today!!

I will write only few words in English, more words in Hebrew. 

Anyway, I hope that the photos will speak for themselves.

 Some of the Jewelry I made are in my normal style, some of them are far away from my comfort Zone.

 I want to thank my partner Marsha Neal, again, for these beautiful beads.

Marsha is a very talent artist. She makes beautiful ceramic beads.

החגיגה התחילה כשראיתי באינטרנט שיש מסיבת חרוזים, או נכון יותר מסיבת "מרק חרוזים" של בעלי בלוגים באינטרנט.

שלחתי, כפי שנדרש ממני חרוזים לבת זוגי בארה"ב Marsha

קיבלתי ממנה חבילה נפלאה של חרוזים. כמה מהם אמנם נשברו בדרך, אבל היא שלחה אלי חבילה חדשה, עם חרוזים חדשים, יפיפיים יותר אפילו מאלה שנשברו. 

התחלתי לעבוד במרץ. מצאתי את עצמי מתקשה לחבר בין החרוזים, ועושה במקום תכשיט אחד כמה וכמה ועוד כמה תכשיטים קטנים.

התקשיתי אמנם לצאת מ"אזור הנוחות" שלי, אבל לאחר שניסיתי שוב ושוב הצלחתי לייצר תכשיט אחד שחלמתי לעשות המוווון זמן. תכשיט רומנטי שנראה כמו פרח, ותכשיט אחר אותו חיברתי עם שרשרת מתכתית ולא עם חוטים וחרוזים כהרגלי.

עשיתי קשרים בחוטי המשי, ניסיון שלא לגמרי צלח אבל בכל זאת "פתח לי את הראש" לרעיונות שאיישם בעתיד.

נהניתי מכל רגע. עבדתי המון שעות. למדתי המון ובעיקר - קשרתי קשרים (אינטרנטיים אמנם אבל מבחינתי משמעותיים) עם "חורזות" ומעצבי תכשיטים בכל העולם. 

ושוב, אני מצרפת את הקישור לרשימת המשתתפים. כדאי ומומלץ לבקר בבלוגים שלהם

The silk ribbons are so nice and they add a very delicate touch to the colors, and make it complete.

BEAD SOUP BLOG PARTY - I have a beading soup partner!!

I have a beading soup partner!! Talented Marsha Minutella from U.S.A

She is an Artist. She makes beautiful ceramic beads and pendants.

I asked her to write few words about herself.

I make ceramic beads & pendants - mostly porcelain, but have been playing with chocolate clay lately.

I used to sell through bead shows, but after having kids, gave up the traveling lifestyle.

Love blogging - MarshaNealStudio.blogspot.com and I also have a gardening blog: MarshasGardenBlog.Blogspot.com.

I dabble with jewelry making. Mostly using wire wrapping and basic stringing techniques. I love bead embroidery, bead crochet, bead weaving, and trying new stitches, but just have not found the time since having my kids. Once they are not so hands on, I will find time for it again. Tiny beads and tiny people (1.5 and 3.5 years old) just don't go well together....."

Gold filled beads, pearls, delica and szech beads - the new pendant

necklace and pendant - the new version.

It took me a while to "build" the right structure that holds beautifuly as well as stable this 
pendant.

Now, that I found the structure, I am going to make
some veriations of pendants and necklaces.

Just to remind you, every one is unique, with different 
colours.

Jewelry box

לחברה טובה שלי יש יום הולדת.
חשבתי לתת לה מתנה מעשי ידי..
מצאתי את הקופסה בחנות לאביזרים לעבודות יד.
כדי שלא תיראה חשופה ו"ראשונית" מדי ריססתי קודם כל בלכה 2 שכבות. אחרי שהלכה התייבשה הדבקתי את העור ועליו את הקבושון. אח"כ הוספתי את הפסים בצדדים, ואת חלקי העור בתוך הקופסה.
טוב, ...כמובן שזה לא היה פשוט כל כך.. לא היה לי עור מתאים.. חיפשתי וחיפשתי עד שמצאתי שאריות של עור באחת החנויות הגדולות בדרום תל אביב....
עכשיו אני מרוצה. הקופסה קטנה, מתאימה לטבעות או עגילים.
אסתטי, חמוד ויפה!!

Still at work....

Still working on this cabochon. It is  too big to wear... So it is meant to become a part of a jewelry box's cover.

When it will be finished I will photograph..of course.

The Blue Sky Pendant and necklace (2nd version)

This is the Blue Sky Pendant and necklace second version. 

This is the first one:

את התליון הזה כבר סיימתי קודם לכן והוא נראה כך:

אבל... לא הייתי מרוצה משהו היה חסר. נראה לי שהתוצאה הסופית אכן "שלמה" יותר, אם כי גם בגירסה הקודמת התליון נראה מפתיע ביופיו.
עדין. אלגנטי. מכיל בתוכו הן את המוזהב והן את הפנינים.
לא היה פשוט לבצע את התליון הזה מכיוון שכל שינוי היה כרוך בטקטיקת שזירה בה החוט "נעלם מהעיין". וככל שרבו החרוזים כך הביצוע היה עדין ומסובך יותר.
עם זאת - הנאתי מהעשייה היתה שלימה. ועכשיו לפרויקט הבא..

סט של צמיד ושתי טבעות בצבעים שחור ואדם. יש משהו מעורר תשומת לב ומודרני בצירוף הזה. מתאים לשעות הערב.
המעניין בצמיד הוא הדוגמא הלא סימטרית שהופכת אותו לייחודי ואמנותי. כתכשיט מרשים, קייצי, אלגנטי.
